My Last Project of Grade 12...

Stage 5: Well this picture of it kinda sucks. I couldn't get a picture of it without a glare but here it is, the finale! I added pink accents pretty much everywhere. I put it in the treasure map design, on top of extra circles of silver metallic in the background and on her shirt. There also is text in this picture...I know its hard to tell because you pretty well have to be right up close to see it. But, I wrote text all around the girl and in the background as well. Overall I'm happy with it. It's different for something I would usually do but I'm happy that I got out of my comfort zone and did something new.
Stage 4: Painted the headband a couple different shades of pink and some white, outlined it black, and outlined the while girl in white as well. Also put in the treasure map style design up top.
stage 3: I fixed the shape of her hair a little bit and also her face. I added in her facial features and outlined her.

Stage 2: This is the beginning of "the girl." I taped paper together and drew out the outline of the girl on that then cut her out so I could trace her onto the canvas. This girl is my version of one of Elsie's designs. For her headband I used masking tape to build it up so it stands out from the rest.
Stage 1: Well, Technically stage one would simply be the newspaper as the background but I decided to combine the two. This is newspaper, tape, sand, tissue paper, gel medium, and acrylic paint. I did it in a "repetitive pattern" of circles.
